DIA 38MM Viton rubber sleeve for core flooding experiments to University of New South Wales-Australia
Original rubber sleeve RFQ is as below
Hi, I am looking for a viton rubber sleeve for core flooding experiments. The rubber sleeve should be at least 250mm long with inner diameter of 38mm. It should work under 150degC and 4000psi.
Can you let me know if you have similar products and how much is it?
Thanks.

please see below reply with blue marked:
Re viton rubber sleeve for core flooding experiments.
rubber sleeve with viton, its ok, no problem, we could meet
hardness: 70±5SHore A
color: black or others?
existing viton compounds could meet core flooding experiments
The rubber sleeve should be at least 250mm long with inner diameter of 38mm.
> length and inner diameter, which could be according to your design
as OEM manufacturer, we could provide Custom processing service
please kindly advise the demand quantity of rubber sleeve? and the sleeve thickness? like rubber sleeve with 3 mm thickness, or 5MM thickness or more
and then me could evaluate the weight of viton rubber parts
It should work under 150degC and 4000psi.
>viton sleeve material could meet working temperature -30 ℃ to 200 ℃
>Re 4000PSI ,
could you please kindly advise its Viton material proterties or the pressure of inside fluide,
if viton material tensible strength should be reach 4000PSI, which is little difficult, because of normal viton sleeve is with 1500-2000PSI
Can you let me know if you have similar products and how much is it?
price will be updated to you depend on quantity and estimated part weight.
different quantity, different processing way, compression moulding or extrusion.
please take some patient and let me know thickness/ quantity/4000PSI for what

Rubber Sleeve RFQ technical point analysis:
1. The characteristics of Viton materials meet the requirements of shale oil transportation. The formula developed by Melon has also passed various third-party tests. It is quite certain that we can process it. The material selection of viton sleeve is correct. Because fluorine rubber has a high degree of chemical stability, it is the best medium resistance among all elastomers. Fluororubber is resistant to petroleum-based oils, diester oils, silicone ether oils, silicic acid oils, inorganic acids, most organic and inorganic solvents, chemicals, etc., but not resistant to low-molecular ketones, ethers, and esters. Not resistant to amines, ammonia, hydrofluoric acid, chlorosulfonic acid, phosphoric acid hydraulic oil Fluororubber hoses are suitable for high temperature, oil and special medium resistant occasions, such as aircraft fuel oil, hydraulic oil, synthetic diester oil , High temperature hot air, thermal inorganic and other special media (such as chlorinated hydrocarbons and other chlorides) transportation, guidance, etc.
2. Demand quanity and then to recommend suitable processing technology. The viton material is more expensive. If the quantity is small, the extrusion process is very expensive. In this case, compression molding is recommended.
The biggest difficulty in rubber Sleeve processing is demoulding, so when designing the mold, special attention should be paid to the design of the mold's exhaust groove to avoid air trapping when the product is out of the mold.
3.Hardness: Customers may not have experience with this. As an OEM rubber manufacturer, Melon has experience in producing rubber sleeves of various specifications. According to the customer’s use environment, 60-70SHore A is recommended.
Melon, as an OEM rubber & plastic manufacturer, has experience in producing rubber sleeves of various specifications including viton sleeve, silicone sleeve and so on, and could recommend right rubber material and rubber processing way according to the customer’s use environment.
